Dr. Edwin Daniel Jacob is a Lecturer with the Faculty of Leadership and Interdisciplinary Studies at Arizona State University. His most recent work, American Security and the Global War on Terror (Routledge, 2020), provides an interpretive framework for making sense of today’s geopolitical landscape by showing the impact ideology has had on contemporary American security practices. Dr. Jacob’s other works have appeared in E-International Relations and Peace Review and on several online scholarly platforms, including APSA, France 24, and Reader Supported News.
